I ordered the new Jig Z hooks and if I do say so I am super impressed with them. I have tied several flies with them and they will be my new favorite hook. The quality is second to none and the customer service is just the same. You can’t go wrong ordering anything from these fine folks.

I’ve used the wide gap jigs for a long time, and they were great, but these jig z I just had to try! The horizontal eye allows a much bigger bead on smaller flies if desired. I can put a 4.6mm on a #20 if I really want too. Super strong and sharp too! Best company I’ve ever delt with hands down 🎣

I fell in love with fulling mill jig force shorts, but always wanted a little thicker wire. These new jig Z hooks are exactly that. Absolute perfection. They size the same way, so go down a size or two for "normal" hook sizing. Pictured from left to right are: jig size 14, under wide jig 14, next is wide jig 16, with the 16 jig z, lastly is the jig z 18

No burrs and they bomb down in the water!

First and foremost, these beads are fantastic. And perhaps as important is the fact that this company is incredibly reliable, orders are received very quickly, and there’s no shipping fee.

Unknowingly, I made mistake mistakes on two orders that I made and the company flagged my mistakes and contacted me before shipping. It would’ve been my fault and I would’ve received products that I didn’t anticipate ordering. They noticed an inconsistency in my order and contacted me so that I can correct it and get the products that I intended to get in the first place.

I ordered some beads from Saluda beads from a recommendation from a fellow fly fisherman from my Fly Fishing Club. The order was filled quickly and I was very happy with the quality of the product. I needed some needed some heavier beads to tie some flies to get down quickly in a couple deeper holes I want to try. I thinks these beads will be perfect!

I received your Insta-Jig beads and tied some size 16 and 18 PT nymphs. I like the way they jump into position when I wrap up to them, and how heavy they are compared to slotted tungsten beads. I’m looking forward to fishing them, and to tying more jig style flies. The hooks seem to run a little smaller than some other brands, which can be a good thing, depending on what I’m tying. All in all, I’m very happy with my first purchase from Saluda Beads, and I will be purchasing from you again in the future!
