I appreciate the opportunity to purchase and use Saluda Beads on my patterns. However, I wanted to tie them on my size 8 jig hooks from Firehole Outdoors. The 4.0mm Slotted Beads do not fit on this hook. I tried several times with different colors. Just won't go on......... Therefore, I have to purchase other hooks that will work or the beads will be of no use for my purposes. Thank you for listening.

Very pleased with the product. One reason I like these beads is that they are not as heavy as similar beads marked say 2.8 mm from other vendors, most of whose 2.8 mm beads weigh exactly the same as everyone else's 3.0 beads. This difference actually let's me a series of the same fly (say Walt's Worms) and have flies with different weight for different condions. I've always wished beads were sold by weight, not diameter, as weight is far more important than diameter.

This is my third or fourth time ordering tungsten beads from Saluda. Hands down the best bang for your buck. Can't say enough about the color and size selection made possible with the 100/200/300 choice options. Quality product and superb response time. Had my order in three days from date of purchase. While I do miss getting them in the plastic jars, the ziplock bags are just as easy to use for storage purposes. Really like the bead to hook size chart that was included with this most recent order. It has replaced the hand written one I made for easy reference. As always, I am extremely pleased with this company and its product. 10/10 recommend.
