Been tying with their slotted beads a while now and they have been the most consistent in terms of a clean slotted bead. Really helps with orienting them on the hook and setting your thread dam. The new colors in olive and pink are fish catching machines! Tight lines - Matt

The great prices, ability to mix and match a wide variety of colors/sizes, and ease of ordering makes the choice simple. The beads are really easy to lock in as others have stated. I will certainly be ordering more beads and hooks from Saluda.
Decided to give these beads a try as I had heard a lot of good things but to say im disappointed is an understatement. The hole and slot are so small that there is very few hook sizes that they can actually be used on. I tried putting a 3.8mm bead on a size 10 standard jig hook, which is the middle of the suggested size, and I can't even get the bead to go around the hook gap. Have never had this problem with any other bead on the market. I will be looking elsewhere for beads
Derek, thanks for taking the time to let us know of your experience. While the slimmer slots of our beads work well for slimmer ties due to the need for less thread wraps, it can also pose an issue with certain hook brands and bends. We'll drop some of our Jig #8s, #10s, and #12s in the mail for you ASAP (all fit our slotted 3.8s), as well as some 4.6 slotted beads you might can use for the #10 hooks you're currently using.
