Been tying with their slotted beads a while now and they have been the most consistent in terms of a clean slotted bead. Really helps with orienting them on the hook and setting your thread dam. The new colors in olive and pink are fish catching machines! Tight lines - Matt

I can’t say enough about saluda beads. Try them you’ll love them!! When I need beads this is where i get them I don’t even look any where else anymore!!
Price is great and I love the service. However I am having a lot of issues getting the beads on hooks. I do use a 1x strong jig hook. I have been unable to get 2.0mm beads on size 18 hooks. And like wise going up in sizes. Just wish the holes were a tad more consistent.
Hate to hear that, JM. Shoot us an email (contact@saludabeads.com) and let us know which hooks - whether ours or another vendor - you're using. If using ours, all of our jig-style 18s should fit a 2.0, with the notable exception of our Jig - Z hooks which need to be sized up a bead. If another vendor, we would love to send you some of ours to see if they fit better for our slimmer slots.

Saluda was suggested to me by a fellow fly tier. I placed an order and was contacted by Saluda to confirm my selection to avoid any errors. This is the only company I am aware of that allows custom selection. The beads arrived in a timely manner with a hand written thank you for my order. The beads are as expected and at a low cost.
